MANHATTAN -- A Kansas State University assistant professor of engineering has received the prestigious National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development award, which includes a $375,000 research grant.
Shuting Lei, assistant professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering, received the National Science Foundation Career award in February. He is the seventh K-State College of Engineering recipient since 1995.
