HE may be smaller than a Coke can, but Dex the dog is equally full of fizz - even though he's only 3in high.

The tiny Yorkshire terrier sleeps in his master's slipper and gets up every morning to strut around the house as though he owns it.

Thought to be Britain's smallest dog, the pocket- sized terrier is an inch smaller than the powderpuff papillon, Dylan, featured in last week's Scottish Daily Mail.

Dex is eight weeks old and Dylan ten weeks. Both may yet grow an inch or so, but Dex stands a fair chance of remaining Britain's smallest fur ball - the world's smallest dog is a Yorkshire terrier from Thailand ...
