NEW YORK -- Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays PLC, today announced that they will move their Latin American capital market activities from Miami to the firm's North American headquarters in New York.
This decision will result in a reduction of staff at the Miami office currently located at 1111 Brickell Avenue and will focus its remaining Miami based banking activities on trade finance and treasury. The businesses affected are investment banking, loan syndications, foreign exchange and emerging market sales.
