HARRISBURG, Pa. -- On behalf of Pennsylvania Gov. Mark Schweiker, Labor and Industry Secretary Johnny J. Butler today announced that information on applying for federal Temporary Extended Unemployment Compensation (TEUC) benefits is being mailed to Pennsylvanians who may qualify.
"All potential TEUC claimants should receive criteria and instructions in a short time, allowing those qualified to receive their benefit checks as soon as possible," Secretary Butler said.
Beginning March 14, 62,000 eligible claimants who are within their benefit year for regular UC eligibility, and have received their full regular UC entitlement, will receive notices of TEUC ...
