Bvlgari has launched a limited edition scent influenced by Oriental poetry and green tea. Eau Parfumee au The Vert (Green Tea) and its concentrated version Extreme bow next month.
The fragrance is influenced, says the company, by the subtle poetry of the haiku, short ritual poems created by the 17th century Japanese master Matsuo Basho, which are marked by the syllable pattern. The packaging of both the limited editions reflects this inspiration, and each fragrance is decorated with a different haiku, created for Bvlgari by a Japanese haikist.
