A ballot measure backed by the teachers union of the mammoth Los Angeles Unified School District and hailed by supporters as a way to shift money from administration to schools has local school districts worried.
The three biggest school districts in the Antelope Valley have passed or are planning to pass resolutions stating their opposition to the ``95/5'' initiative, under which school districts could spend no more than 5 percent of their budgets on off-campus administrative costs or face hefty fines.
