The building rises like a stone hangar out in the middle of nowhere. This is where the Alemany High girls' basketball team hopes to make its dream a reality.

The Indians will play today in ARCO Arena, which played host to NCAA men's basketball tournament games last week and is home to the NBA's Sacramento Kings. It's a far cry from where Alemany plays its home games at L.A. Baptist.

The players and coaches saw the arena from Interstate 5 on their way from the airport to the hotel Friday morning. It is surrounded by fields of crops and not much else.
