Just call it a sweet deal gone sour.

After 23 years in the Encino Oaks Shopping Center, the See's candy shop will close its doors for good Saturday because of a rent dispute with the center's new owner, Stomad Partners L.P., based in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.

While See's officials say the new rent is too high, the landlords, who took over the center in January, say they are simply asking for the prevailing market rate for the space at 17340 Ventura Blvd.
