Responsibility for a Kildeer Countryside School District 96 school bus incident involving an unauthorized person boarding a bus has shifted to the bus driver.
The bus driver, a Laidlaw Transit employee, has been suspended without pay, for allowing board member Victoria Juster to enter his school bus without authorization Feb. 26. Kevin Orzechowski, Laidlaw's Midwest regional director of driver and development, said he didn't know the length of the suspension.
"There was two wrongs here," Orzechowski said.
