A Desert High School junior has written a play about typical situations encountered by teen-agers.
``School Life,'' by 18-year-old Tony Ramirez, encompasses both humorous and serious high school occurrences, from attempted date rape to sleep-over pranks and cafeteria gossip.
``Tony is very high-energy,'' said drama and English teacher Kia Hurtley. ``He has immense creativity . . . He is bringing all the technical knowledge and all the resources that we have together and he's using those in this play. I find him to be very resourceful and dedicated.''
The play will be performed at 7 p.m. May 27 and 28 ...
