The prosecution of Microsoft by the federal government and 20-odd states is the action of a resentful mentality that wants to see the downfall of Microsoft.
On April 30 the Daily News published an article titled ``13 states' top cops set to battle Microsoft.'' It reported, ``The attorneys general refused to say
exactly what their suit would charge because the matter is still under investigation.''
Translation: The states had already decided to go after Microsoft; only the rationalization was left to be decided.
The 1960s anti-capitalist radicals chanted, ``First we make the revolution, then we decide what for.''
