The Angels have been here before. The trick is staying here.
The Angels finished the month of June with a 4-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night before 25,629 at Edison Field and maintained their firm grasp on first place in the American League West.
But as the Angels know all too well, pennants aren't awarded on July 1.
Garret Anderson's three-run homer, a gritty performance by starter Chuck Finley and clutch pitching by the bullpen (including Troy Percival's league-leading 25th save) helped the Angels win for the 10th time in 14 interleague games this season.
