LOS Angeles City Council members are getting another pay raise. For those keeping score, that's the second hike in three months for America's highest-paid council members.
They now are paid $110,612 - though they actually ``earn'' far less. And if the value of their efforts were put to a vote of the public - and we dare the council to do so - we're certain the majority would feel a steep pay cut was in order.
The council, however, is shameless. Councilwoman Jackie Goldberg, who has fought tooth and nail to raise the pay of city employees and contract workers, is pocketing her entire $3,221 raise. So is Nate Holden, who said, ``I don't feel bad about ...
