Having not played host to Monday Night Football in 15 years, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled out all the stops. There were fireworks, a team record, an almost NFL record and a victory.
Satisfaction was guaranteed for Bucs' fans.
The Bucs, whose playoff hopes were rejuvenated by the Arizona Cardinals' loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, upset the Green Bay Packers, 24-22, before a Raymond James Stadium record crowd of 65,497.
In ending its losing streak against the Packers at six games, Tampa Bay (6-7) drew into a tie with Arizona and the New Orleans Saints for the NFC's final playoff berth.
