Everybody talks about Cade McNown's telescopic vision, his ability to see a receiver streaking open in the end zone even as he himself is squirming to escape the clutches of some 300-pound lineman with halitosis.
How the senior left-hander managed to find Brian Poli-Dixon on that game-tying 7-yard touchdown pass at Miami as he was falling out of bounds we'll never know.
The truth is, McNown sees so far it's staggering. His range of view extends beyond the back goal line, past the Heisman Trophy race, farther on than the NFL and well into middle age.
