Billy Casper hasn't won a PGA Tour event since 1975, but his name burns eternally in the annals of the Los Angeles Open.
The 65-year-old Casper will arrive at the Rivera Country Club from his Chula Vista home to receive honors at this year's tournament, commemorating his two L.A. Open victories.
Casper, who now participates in occasional PGA Senior Tour events, won the Los Angeles Open in 1968 and 1970. His recollections of the tournament are vivid.
``In 1968, we played at Brookside in Pasadena,'' Casper said. ``And a lot of the players complained about Brookside, but of course I didn't. ...
