Unlike most prolific home-run hitters who claim making contact with the ball is all they think about when they're at bat, Montclair Prep softball sensation Tamra Freedman doesn't lie.
She admits her theory is, hit the ball hard and far. Preferably over the fence. Every time. Each at bat. Game after game after game.
``There's no way around not thinking about hitting a home run,'' Freedman said. ``It's always in the back of my mind. To me, it's the easiest way to score a run and sometimes it means two or three runs at a time.''
Freedman is on to something.
