Carl Lewis is planning a little going-away party for himself.
He wants to hold it at the end of track's outdoor season. Sometime in September, in his hometown of Houston, which he says is big enough for both his big mouth and that of Charles Barkley, now playing with the NBA's Houston Rockets.
Lewis' last appearance will be a made-for-TV event, for sure, a glittery finale that will include a few events for some of his friends.
``I'm going to invite Jackie Joyner-Kersee and have the women's long jump,'' Lewis said this week.
