This introduction to the J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu is almost like stepping into another world, far from the beach and the traffic whizzing by a few hundred feet away on Pacific Coast Highway.
And there's less than four months to visit before the museum, opened in 1974 to house the growing art collection of multimillionaire oilman J. Paul Getty, closes down July 6 for a renovation that will last four years.
