Once again, Joe Gelman is right on the mark. He continues to tell it like it is, regardless of the sensitivity of the issue. Happily, he always seems correct in his views (``Conservative black radio host comes under attack,'' Viewpoint, May 11).
The latest issue regarding Larry Elder and the push by a certain faction to get him off the air is as major a story as any that might appear on the front page of any newspaper. What Gelman is talking about is the First Amendment, the right to free speech and the hypocrisy that exists in our racially diverse society.
Where is the American Civil Liberties Union on this issue? Why isn't it fighting this movement ...
