In the serene setting of Alamosa, Colorado, Deena Drossin has found inspiration for her series of short stories based on a fictional cafe in New York.
Many of the characters in the compilation tenatively titled ``Voices of the Green Leaf Cafe,'' have been spawned by her new acquaintances in Alamosa and her part-time job at a local cafe.
``I've developed charcters from my friends, but I can't tell you which,'' Drossin said. ``It is a secret. They'll know who they are.''
