The Angels' recently acquired ``defensive specialist' was surprisingly offensive Sunday afternoon.
Catcher Angelo Encarnacion tagged a three-run home run and collected a career-high four RBI during the Angels' 7-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants in front of 24,751 at 3Com Park.
The win kept the Angels one game behind Seattle, which beat the Dodgers, for first place in the divisional race, and 6-1/2 games behind the New York Yankees in the wild-card race. It was Anaheim's sixth win in its last 16 games and fourth victory in 14 interleague games.
