Regardless of how much El Camino Real High School football coach Rick Hayashida tries to downplay his club's season-opening victory, the spotlight is glaring to his team.
In another edition of the battle of West Hills, the Conquistadores take on Chaminade. El Camino Real is the prohibitive favorite.
Maybe it's because it rolled up 51 points last week against North Hollywood. Chaminade managed three against Crespi.
Maybe it's because tailback Quincy Wright rushed for 207 yards in 14 carries.
