I'D SEEN the photos in the guide books, I'd seen shots of them in movies...but nothing can really prepare you for your first stunning, unforgettable glimpse of the Pyramids.
When I tell you that it took 100,000 men 20 years to build just one of them you'll have some idea of how these massive stone structures tower up into the sky. Wimpey would have been really proud of those boys...
