Moorpark High School has been placed in the Marmonte League for at least the next four years after the Southern Section decided Tuesday the league did not adhere to specific criteria when the school was placed in the Channel League in March.
The Marmonte League unanimously voted to exclude Moorpark so it could have six teams (current members Camarillo and Channel Islands are joining a new Oxnard league), thus making it easier for scheduling.
