Hollywood movie props add to the terror at the Catacomb of Dementia, a ``haunted'' house that will open tonight at the Santa Clarita Elks Club, 17764 Sierra Highway, Canyon Country.
In Newhall, outdoor types might want to hike the Haunted Trail from 7 to 9 tonight at William S. Hart Park.
Back at the Elks Club, the fund-raiser for Boy Scout Troup No. 527 is so scary that sponsors recommend it for those 13 and older. The Catacomb of Dementia will be open from 7 to 11:30 p.m. today and Saturday, as well as on Halloween night and Nov. 1. Admission is $2 for those taller than 4 feet tall and $1 for those shorter. Children must be accompanied by adults.
