VAN NUYS - Two women suffered minor injuries when four men forced their way into the women's apartment and attacked them, police said Monday.
The incident occurred about midnight in the 15300 block of Weddington Street when the robbers knocked on the door, which the victims then opened, said Detective Greg Demirjian of the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys Division robbery unit.
``It wasn't a random type of thing,'' Demirjian said. ``It seemed to be planned; they knew who they were going to rob.''
The four men ordered the women to hand over $200 in cash and two rings valued at $2,100, then fled the area just before authorities arrived, ...
