If you're not inclined to peek through the wrought iron fence into Paul Haffely's spectacular yard, Better Homes and Gardens will do it for you in its summer edition, which hits the newsstands April 9. The ponds, waterfall, fountains and lush multi-level gardens that surround the renovated Cambridge victorian will be featured on the cover with a 10-page photo spread inside.

"It's a paradise to me, and because the garden changes all the time, it is a different piece of art every year," said Haffely, 50, who was a grocery clerk for many years before becoming a landscape designer for McKay Nursery, in Waterloo, more than 10 years ago. ...
