Guess what is the latest alarming ordinance your Los Angeles City Council members are considering to further tax building owners out of their buildings - and cause more rot throughout the city of Los Angeles?
They now have a retrofit program in the works to force 80,000 property owners to pay for a very costly and questionable program of retrofitting the buildings they own to suit the demands of the demagogues in the City Council. It is estimated by them that some of these retrofitting repairs could run up to $2 million for a single building.
