On March 18, Wells Fargo & Company, one of North America's oldest and largest financial services companies, will celebrate 150 years in business from coast-to-coast. Wells Fargo was founded as a banking and express company on March 18, 1852 on Wall Street in New York City. The first office opened in San Francisco, at the site of the company's current headquarters.
