Unlike traditional parking brakes, the DURA Electronic Park Brake locates the brake actuator remotely and interfaces with a small interior switch to activate the system. This eliminates the need for a hand brake or foot brake inside the vehicle, improving vehicle packaging and freeing valuable interior space, which can then be utilized for other value-added features.
