The National Aerobic Championshipsbegin today, and the Santa Clarita team of Karen West, Kathy Faulstich and Shelly Jefferis took no chances.
Earlier this week, they met at the Santa Clarita Athletic Club and worked on the smallest of details of the 1-minute, 47-second routine they will be performing.
As the trio went through the routine, first in its entirety, then in parts, their coach, Robert Brady, videotaped and analyzed. On a little screen attached to the camera, the women saw the points where they weren't in sync. So they went back and fixed it. Again and again and again. For three hours.
