If they are not standing on your front lawn gripping clubs and bullhorns, the disposition of 70 million people isn't measured easily. So Dodgers president Peter O'Malley was cautious in his analysis this week, as baseball stood less than a month from its first full season in three years.
Not far from O'Malley's Dodgertown living room, baseball fans lined a cement pathway that leads from the Dodgers' clubhouse to their practice fields.
