The Post-Standard Friday incorrectly stated the value of pi in a photo caption that accompanied a story about Chittenango High School students' singing about pi. It's value was incorrectly reported to be 3.1459. Pi, as was correctly stated throughout the rest of the story, is 3.14159.

Students in Jennifer Geehrer's math class at Chittenango High School broke out in song and celebration at 1:59 p.m. Thursday.
It was pi moment during Pi Day, a salute to the mathematical term for the circumference of a circle divided by its diameter.
