Hoping to keep alive Yitzhak Rabin's message of peace, city leaders Sunday dedicated a Lankershim Boulevard intersection to the slain Israeli prime minister in a ceremony attended by his widow.
Leah Rabin, wearing a gold dove pin in support of Middle East peace, thanked Los Angeles city officials and the Jewish community for honoring her husband with the new Yitzhak Rabin Square at Ventura Boulevard.
``He started the road to peace,'' Rabin said. ``Despite obstacles, despite hardships . . . this train keeps moving on . . . I thank you very much.''
