Undoubtedly, others will share the opinion of Mickey Epstein (``Canoga Park patching cracked image; chamber committee working to upgrade areas, attract visitors,'' Daily News, May 20). There are, though, many more who will be saddened by his condemnation of Canoga Park.
This community is no different from thousands like it all over the country, areas that served their purpose and then were deserted. Fortunately, Canoga Park has much more going for it than many of the others.
It has many strong and well-established civic groups. A look through their membership rosters will uncover the same names over and over from the business and residential ...
