A modernistic shaman has found a temporary home at the Ventura County Government Center, its copper and wood form complementing the rectangular buildings and circular brick and stone courtyard.

Despite its size, sculptor Ivan Shvarts doesn't intend for his ``Medicine Man'' to stand out. The Agoura artist just wants people to pause and enjoy the graceful form inspired by American Indian cultures.
