I have never been there, but I have a great reason to be thankful for the Hollywood Bowl. Back in 1958, there was a young lady who worked there by the name of Becky Larsen and a young man named Jack Bayne who worked for the County of Los Angeles. They met at the Hollywood Bowl and fell in love and got married a year later!
These two wonderful people are my parents.

My best and oldest memories of the Hollywood Bowl go back to the late '30s and early '40s, when my friend and I used to hike up to the upper part of the hill and climb an old tree located there. We'd watch and listen to the concerts for free. One ...
