Prior to reading your (June 28) article on the film ``Striptease'' and really reading what actress Demi Moore had to say, I must admit I was very disappointed in her as an actress choosing such a role. She could have any pick of roles she wants - why would she choose one so ``degrading''?
But I realized something. Being a ``feminist'' (and I use the term loosely) means every woman having her choice.
In addition, if feminist groups really want to support women in film, then they will go and pay the money to see ``Striptease'' and help ensure that actresses will keep getting the high salaries that their male counterparts are allowed.
