Dan O'Brien swooped into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel coffee shop recently for a morning interview like a hungry sea gull diving for a fish and soared away just as quickly for his next appointment, a spot on television that promised significant exposure.
He answered familiar questions politely but quickly. No long pauses. No convoluted answers.
No time even for a bite to eat, which created a slightly unnerving sense of urgency.
The idea? To cram as many interviews as possible into his frenetic schedule.
