IT COULD be described as a jazz dynasty. I refer to the Dankworth family. John and Cleo are two elders of British jazz with their bassplaying son Alec already following in their footsteps.
Now here is another member of the clan with a singing career after a few years in the theatre, daughter Jacqueline.
Accompanied by saxophonist Alan Barnes and guitarist Mike Outram, the singer performed a varied programme of songs from Broadway standards to soul and blues by way of several delightful bossa nova numbers.
