Rev. Herman Meadors, who preached throughout Kentucky and Cincinnati, died Thursday at his home in Pleasant Ridge, Ohio.
He was 76.
Rev. Meadors was pastor of the New Hope Pentecostal Church of God in Norwood, Ohio.
He also was an evangelist, preaching in Covington, Newport, Walton, Williamsburg, Somerset and Hazard.
He and his wife, the late Agnes Myers Meadors, grew up in Williamsburg, Ky. He served in the Navy in World War II in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima.
When he returned home, he married Agnes Myers and they moved to Batavia, Ohio, and raised their family. Meadors was an insurance salesman, but he felt called to ...
