The site is a waaay cool archive of how Web sites used to look. Just type in the name of a Web site and the Wayback Machine will fetch some old pages that will make you say "ick" or "what were they thinking?"
The best part about the site is its special collections, such as Web Pioneers and Sept. 11. You also can see what the 1996 presidential candidates' Web sites looked like. The collections are organized just like a library. You can search the collections or just tool around, you know, like you used to. ...
