ABIX via COMTEX) -- New Zealand's Restaurant Brands Pizza has acquired 51 of Victoria's 65 Pizza Hut outlets for $A11.9m. These include 11 outlets that were placed into receivership with KPMG in October 2001, along with two Tasmanian stores. The company has announced a $A4m refurbishment program and an increased marketing campaign for the Victorian resuscitation of the Pizza Hut brand. The Victorian stores reported turnover of $A30m during 2000-2001.
