Although Isadore ``Iz'' Rosenberg has lived in California for more than 50 years, the North Hills man has become involved in a battle of principle being waged thousands of miles away.

New Hampshire, his birthplace, is the only state in the nation that doesn't celebrate Martin Luther King Day.

The retired Pierce College professor wants to do something about it - and help out an old friend in the process.
