Picturing the future of satellite TV - and, most likely, the biggest challenge to cable TV's nationwide monopoly - shifted from fierce debate in Washington, D.C., to a pro-satellite road show in Madison on Tuesday.
Madison served as the first stop of a 30-city, monthlong tour to boost support for a proposed merger of two satellite TV giants - a union that promises to derail cable TV's grip and offer local channels on its package options.
