The new service permits customers 24/7 access to loan and deposit accounts with the bank. Customers may access account balances, transfer money between accounts and make loan payments. The Smart Banker II Internet banking service is a totally free service to Carolina Bank customers. The Internet banking service complements the bank's telephone banking program, Smart Banker I, which permits customers to access their Carolina Bank accounts 365 days a year, 24 hours a day with a touch-tone phone.
