SUN CHEMICAL SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT TO PRODUCE PRINTING INK
FOR EAST GERMANY AND OTHER EASTERN EUROPE MARKETS
FORT LEE, N.J., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Chemical Corporation announced today that its subsidiary, Hartmann Druckfarben GmbH of Frankfurt, West Germany, has signed a letter of intent with the Druck und Lederfarbenfabriken Halle of the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) to enter into a joint venture to produce printing ink for East Germany and other eastern European markets. Sun Chemical is the first U.S.-based printing ink manufacturer to enter into such an agreement with an eastern European ink manufacturer.
