ABORTION
A Phoenix, Arizona, abortionist who called himself "Elvis of the Pelvis" and his clinic, the "Vaginal Vault," was freed on bail while facing 16 charges of sexual abuse and one of sexual assault involving nine of his former patients. Superior Court Judge Pamela Franks lowered Brian Finkel's bond on January 16 from US$203,000 to $100,000, and he posted the bail two days later. He was placed under house arrest and ordered to wear an electronic bracelet so authorities could monitor his whereabouts until his trial scheduled for August 5. Finkel was
