Barry Watson knows the names of just about everyone who walks through the door of Barry's Church Street Cafe in North Syracuse.
Most of his customers are retired residents, but he also gets groups of kids with report cards full of A's and B's ready for a plate of free french fries.
"It's cozy, and it's friendly," said Doug Ford of North Syracuse. "It's relaxing. I come here every day."
Ford likes to eat and sit around the cafe, 101 S. Main St., up to three times a day. People come to the cafe for the food, others come for the friendly service and some come to talk, Ford said.
